چکیده
Endometriosis is a pervasive gynecological ailment which usually results in unease and infertility signified by an accumulation of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus. Current endometriosis medications, often entail surgical intervention hormone therapy, are geared around easing discomfort as well improving fertility. However, alternative approaches targeting angiogenesis have shown promise managing endometriosis-associated infertility. This case report highlights implications combining antiangiogenic therapy (bevacizumab) with dichloroacetate (DCA) patient seeking treatment. A 34-year-old woman presented five-year history severe pelvic pain primary due to stage IV endometriosis. The sought other possibilities after repeated unsuccessful attempts using assisted reproductive technology. revolutionary strategy bevacizumab, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor, DCA, metabolic modulator, has been proposed considering potential significance endometriosis-related infertility. underwent six-month treatment regimen consisting intravenous bevacizumab infusions combined oral DCA administration. theory behind this combination was target reprogramming typically associated disease addition altering abnormal angiogenic signaling pathways that contribute pathogenesis Given scores on visual analogue scale, patient's substantially decreased during time frame treatment. Additionally, notable improvement ovarian reserve markers observed, including increase anti-Müllerian levels number antral follicles. suggests may synergistic effect form provide patients who failed typical options innovative therapeutic approach since it targets both changes.

OBJECT Antiangiogenic agents have recently shown impressive radiological responses in high-grade glioma. However, it is not clear if the responses are related to vascular changes or due to antitumoral effects. The authors report the mature results of a clinical study of bevacizumab-based treatment of recurrent high-grade gliomas. METHODS Sixty-one patients with recurrent high-grade gliomas re...
